"Live Oak Goblet" and "Black Cherry Wing Bowl" - Preservation Tree Art

Michael has had a full 43 year long career as a commercial arborist covering 23 years of service in his native New Jersey and 20 years here in Beaufort. In 1993 he established Preservation Tree Care, Inc., which he retired from in 2013. During that tenure he achieved the statis of Board Certified Master Arborist, one of only six in the State of South Carolina. After nurturing trees for over 43 years, he now spends most of his free time creating art forms, honed from some of these same local trees that he had cared for.
