A lifelong artist with an early career in commercial interior healthcare design, Christie Bogrette paints the Lowcountry coastal landscape as a means to communicate the beauty and healing effects of the natural environment. Her experience designing spaces promoting the wellbeing of patients and staff informs her current work as a fine art painter as well as her belief that quality design enhances our lives. With each painting, she aims to bring a sense of peace to the viewer. A current member of the Artists of Palmetto Bluff, Christie’s formal art training began at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, followed by many years of supplemental training in various mediums.
