INNER WEST BUSHFIRE RELIEF
Inner West Bushfire Relief is a grassroots, community initiative, in which over 100 local businesses, artists, bakers, painters, ceramicists, jewellers and illustrators have come together to donate their works or services, to be auctioned in the week leading up to the Vic on the Park Bushfire Relief event on February 8.
In the wake of such harrowing events, as fires spread across Australia, this auction and the event following it, is a community response, and a way to connect, support each other, and heal as a collective, as we move into the future, and stand in solidarity with those effected by fires.
All proceeds from this Bushfire Relief Fundraiser going to Neil Morris’ Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities, Firesticks Alliance Network, and WIRES.
The Inner West Bushfire Relief team would like to say a huge thankyou to all of the artists and businesses involved in our online silent auction. The generosity, warmth and kindness shown by all involved has allowed for this auction to happen, and reflects the willingness of people to come together to support three important causes, as well as uniting in the face of an uncertain futute.
We invite you to join us on February 8 at the Vic on the Park hotel, for an afternoon and evening of music and DJs, coming together as a community through music and the arts, and finding a place for mental rest, connection and rejuvination. All of the Artworks being sold in this Auction, will be displayed at this event!
