Item Description: The Minangkabau Crown/Suntiang is a traditional metal headdress from the west Sumatra Region of Indonesia. They are commonly worn by brides on their wedding ceremonies. Due to its material, the Suntiang is very heavy and can weigh up to 8 kg. This weight symbolises the responsibilities that come with marriage.
