#11 Class 3 Cushion - Purple

This project was centred around Class 3s crochet skills.

The design of each cushion is based on a series of crocheted ‘circles’ that have been hand sewn onto cushion covers. The crocheted circles were inspired by a pattern for crocheted beanies - one of the craft projects for Class 3 this year.

Various colour schemes of wool were selected to represent the themes of Spring and Summer. We wanted to create a project that was relatively straight forward and something that could accommodate the varying skill levels and interest of the children. To achieve this, children spent several craft lessons, crocheting circles in various sizes and colours of their choice from the wool provided.
