Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Christian C. Carbonell is a lawyer by profession and a photographer by passion. Over the past years—shaped by his community work in Canada and his humanitarian work across South and North America—he has embraced digital collage as a medium for cultural critique and storytelling.

His work explores themes of modernity, displacement, racism, discrimination, and colonialism, weaving together lived experience with visual poetry. Christian’s collages emerge from a place where memory, geography, and social commentary meet.
