The Beehive prides itself on providing inspiration to makers by way of an extensive collection of modern knitted samples from local and international designers.  With a curated selection of commercial and hand-dyed yarns in (almost) every gauge and fibre combination, there is rarely a pattern that a yarn can't be matched with.

Family owned and operated, the shop is pleased to provide friendly and hospitable service to everyone, whether it’s your first time in the shop or if you're a familiar face. Shop owner Valerie Huggett and her Bees are happy to help you find the yarn and notions you need , advise on a tricky set of instructions, or simply to enjoy the symphony of texture and colour that is the Beehive.
