Joseph Pintz is known for his handbuilt, clay-molded servingware. The clean, symmetrical planes and dusty salmon glaze create an Art Deco, retro appearence in this rectangular dish.

Joseph Pintz is a ceramic sculptor and an associate professor at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He earned his BA in Anthropology and Urban Studies at Northwestern University and his MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His work explores the role that domestic objects play in fulfilling our physical and emotional needs. Pintz has received the NCECA Emerging Artist Award. iconceramics.com
