Sonja London-Hall used colorful, raw-edged art glass to craft this unique, wall-hanging stained glass piece. The glass is positioned to display the open edge, with a copper-foiled oak stick providing balance. Glass rondelles and agate slices are inserted into the piece as accents. Strong yet delicate, this one-of-a-kind stained glass piece will bring color and interest to any wall or window.
Sonja London-Hall was born in the small, former-mining town of Ray, Arizona. She studied music and performance at Arizona State University and received two M. Ed. Degrees in education, technology and leadership from Northern Arizona University. She has been an educator for 30 years in music, science, adult education, administration, and ELL instruction. For the past two decades, London-Hall worked in stained glass. She exhibits in juried shows in Arizona and the Southwest. Her work reflects the playful nature and versatility of glass, often incorporating mixed-media and multi-layered elements with hand-drawn, airbrushed, and screen printed low-fire enamel work. https://slondon-hall.wixsite.com/
