"Using the flotsam and jetsam of everyday life, including a myriad of found objects, artifacts, ephemera, and vintage printed matter, I present an iconography that creates a dialogue between the permanent and the transient. As Kurt Schwitters said, “The waste of the world becomes my art”."
Jacque Parsley studied mixed media fine art at the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville. She is an award-winning artist, earning merit awards across the country including first place prize at "The Gamut" National Art Competition, Cleveland University; "Small Works" at Amos Eno Gallery, NY National Juried Competition; "Who's Who" in Amercian Art 19th edition.
