Katherine S. Scott wove this luxe scarf and dyed it using natural pigments for an earthy, golden finish. Slightly scalloped edges add a unique design element to this piece. Light and colored in hues of harvest gourds and squashes, this scarf is the perfect accessory for the start of autumn.

Katherine S. Scott (1938 – 2017) was a weaver and fiber artist. She was past president of the Ann Arbor Fiber Arts Guild. She graduated from University of Wisconsin in 1960 with a degree in physical therapy and was the first director of Physical Therapy at the Chelsea Medical Clinic, later renamed Chelsea Community Hospital, in 1970.
