Rise Foundation Australia was founded by Australia Day Award Winner and qualified mental health trainer Ben Higgs. Ben and the team use evidence based technical expertise and personal insights through lived experience to up skill businesses, communities and individuals in suicide prevention and mental health wellbeing.

Mental health is everyone’s business, with our clients ranging from lawyers and accountants to first responders, underground miners to airport baggage handlers, gym staff and personal trainers to sporting clubs, teachers, parents and community service organisations.

With mental ill health and suicide on the rise, better mental health understanding and acceptance in our communities is more important than ever. It is up to all of us to better support, protect and respond to those in need as well as contribute to building a strong and sustainable culture around mental health. Our courses and workshops are designed to transform the way we understand, manage and respond to mental health issues for ourselves and others. This can be achieved for you through our mental health education and community resilience approach that is built on lived experience, and backed by evidence-based techniques and tools.
