About the Artist

Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Amanda Tye captures the coastal landscape in dreamy, whimsical tones that mirror the rhythm of life by the sea. From the headlands of Manly to the bushland beyond, her oil paintings celebrate the light, movement and emotion of her surroundings. A Fine Arts graduate of UNSW, Amanda now paints full-time from her bushland studio, translating her deep connection to the local environment into vibrant, expressive works. Her art has featured in major prizes across Australia and is held in collections around the world.

Created especially for Felons Manly’s One Year of Beers celebration, Amanda has transformed this surfboard into a one-of-a-kind artwork for the North Steyne Boardriders Lifeline Classic auction. Her signature brushwork sweeps across the board in soft coastal tones, evoking the tides, light and calm of the Northern Beaches. This collectible piece captures the spirit of Manly—where art, surf and community meet.

All proceeds support Lifeline, funding vital local mental health services.
