DesignPhiladelphia - Herman Miller Philadelphia Modern Classic 2021

Charles and Ray Eames adapted molding techniques developed during World War II to produce their classic shell chair's simple, gracious form. In 2001, Herman Miller reintroduced the original Eames Molded Plastic Chair (1950) in a durable, 100 percent recyclable polypropylene.

Each year, Herman Miller Philadelphia invites local designers, architects, crafters and makers to reimagine, reinterpret, redesign & deconstruct one of the most iconic chairs in furniture history. 

These unique designs are available through auction to benefit Unite for HER. 

The auction will be open from October 6th through October 17th at 5pm. The final top bidders will donate directly to Unite for HER. 

BY PLEDGING 10 dollars below, you will be entered to win an Eames Molded Plastic Armchair - White shell and Chrome Base - valued at $495. The donations will close on Thursday, October 14th 5pm and the drawing will take place on Friday, October 15th. Follow @HMPhilly on Instagram!
