Penny Whetton (1958-2019) was a photographer, landscape painter, nature lover, bushwalker and climate scientist. She led CSIRO’s national climate projections work over decades, and was a lead author of three IPCC reports. Her favourite place to be in the world was in nature with a camera around her neck.
