For the first time, Copenhagen Photo Festival and Artland are collaborating on an exclusive online auction, giving collectors the chance to bid on a unique selection of contemporary fine art photographs. Realized by 24 artists from 15 countries, the works have been selected by an international jury based on an open call and constitute this year's edition of The Censored Exhibition, a pillar of the Festival's extensive program.
The Censored Exhibition 2021
The Censored Exhibition is an international group exhibition presenting contemporary fine art photography, created within the last two years. The exhibition highlights diverse expressions in aesthetics, materiality and presentation by showcasing current practices defining fine art photography and its position in the art scene.
The works are selected through an open call, from which an international jury with knowledge of contemporary photography, curation and visual practice finds new, exciting paths within international fine art photography. This year, the jury consists of Audrey Hoareau, Artistic Director at Photo Basel & freelance curator, Michelle Eistrup, visual artist, and Roderick van der Lee, Executive Director at Unseen Amsterdam.
