The Kings finished in top spot of the preseason ladder. They made it to the final series where they lost the series 1-2 to the Perth Wildcats. The most notable player on the side was Andrew Bogut who's name is on the Kit. Bogut who spent the majority of his career playing in the NBA from 2005 - 2019 before returning to Australia to finish his career at the Sydney Kings.
