A note from the Year 3 teachers......
The Year 3 piece of artwork is based on the African bird called a lilac-breasted roller. This is a colourful bird and represents our unique class diversity.
For the Year 3 piece of art, each child was responsible for painting and designing two feathers which were placed together to represent our inclusive class culture. The students ove being able to see the final product of how each feather connected to form the collaborative piece.
They are all very excited about the artwork and can't wait for it to be up for auction and hopefully hanging in their house!
