C.A.R.E - Concerned Artists Resisting Extinction

This special tree features works by well known C.A.R.E artists.

Featured artists involved are Wendy Fuessel SALE, Deb Shill BAIRNSDALE, Dawn and Chris Stubbs MUNRO. It holds more than 30 hand made and painted small art works never to be repeated. Wendy’s small paintings of her beloved highly endangered Regent Honeyeater add a wonderful talking point in a treasure trove of heartfelt small masterpieces by Deb Shill who’s intricate works feature the beautiful Golden Sun moth, Victorias Faunal emblem’s the Helmeted Honey Eater and the much loved Leadbeaters Possum.

Major award winning artists Dawn and Chris Stubbs who started the C.A.R.E project three years ago have made minute hand painted sculptures that hang resplendent in the soft green foliage of the dainty Christmas tree. Especially worth noting is the Greater Glider holding Wendy’s Star at the top. This tree in its message’s tells the story of our unique and endangered wildlife. The collaborative artists of C.A.R.E are thrilled to be involved in this unique auction.
