'Sun - Ts’ehāy'i'

Our Village is a small collection of original artworks by the children of Segno Gebeya, Ethiopia, created together with Australian artists Jasmine Mansbridge, Casey Burrill & Emma Gale.

In 2019, Jasmine, Casey and Emma travelled to Ethiopia with Create Impact. They were invited to the Segno Gebeya Primary school to paint with the students. Students completed their own illustrations on a large drop sheet, inspired by life in their village. The artists were able to provide a helping hand, words of encouragement and just watch the process as young artists came and went between classes. The artworks featured in Our Village are the result of this collaboration. 

All proceeds from Our Village will go back into Segno Gebeya Primary school.

•    This item can either be collected from the Fenton & Fenton warehouse in Oakleigh South VIC 3167 or shipped at the winner’s expense
•    100% of funds raised through the auction of this item will be donated to Create Impact
