We are extremely saddened by the scale of the bushfires that have been burning Australia since September 2019. Around 27 million acres of our beautiful country has been impacted. Hearing about people losing their lives, homes, businesses and millions of animals being hurt is absolutely devastating, and our hearts go out to all those affected.
On Saturday 1st February, Applejack Head Chefs, bar managers, front and back of house teams are coming together to donate their time, offer a truly epic Applejack experience and raise money for people in need at our Bopp & Tone Bushfire Benefit.
We’re overwhelmed with the generosity from our suppliers, external brands and individuals who have donated to this event, including all the food, drinks, entertainment and prizes in our raffle and silent auction. Together we have raised almost $17,000 from your ticket sales, which is incredible and we thank you. Through purchasing raffle tickets and bidding on silent auction items, you can help us reach our fundraising goal of $25,000!
There are many organisations that need funds to be able to support those affected by the bushfires, and we wish we could support them all. We have chosen to donate the funds we raise to Australian Red Cross Disaster & Recovery Relief, Salvation Army Bushfire Disaster Appeal and WIRES Emergency Fund For Wildlife because we believe they are doing great work helping people and animals in need, both now and to rebuild their communities in the future. Together we can make a difference, every bit counts!
