A write-your-novel workshop for 10 people, with Louise Doughty

A two-hour workshop for up to 10 people on how to write your novel – all topics covered from getting started to plotting to approaching agents – a canter through the entire procedure from start to finish. Depending on winner's location, to be decided whether in person or online, but this prize would suit either a book group or an office group interested in some challenging fun, learning about the writing process and a bit about each other to boot.

Louise Doughty is the author of nine novels including the number one bestseller Apple Tree Yard, made into a hit BBC One TV series starring Emily Watson. She has been nominated for multiple prizes including the Orange (Women's) Prize for Fiction and the Costa Novel Award and her work has been translated into 30 languages. She also wrote the Keeley Hawes three-part drama Crossfire. She lives in London. Please note, this workshop may take place online depending on the winning bidder's location.
