For any aspiring or published authors of crime fiction, psychological thrillers, legal thrillers etc, I am pleased to be able to offer the chance to bid for feedback on criminal aspects of your work in progress, whether that be police procedure, court process, prisons, parole or any other topic concerning criminal law. I am happy to answer a specific list of questions you have about your work, in writing or over zoom, or give feedback by reviewing your writing itself. 
 
About Lia Middleton:
 
Lia Middleton studied Drama and Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway University before transferring over to law and training to be a barrister at City Law School. As a fully qualified barrister, Lia has worked as a criminal barrister, prosecuting the full range of crimes for the Crown Prosecution Service, and now works as an advisory barrister, advising on criminal law, youths, prisons, and offender management. 
 
Lia's debut novel, When They Find Her, was acquired by Penguin Michael Joseph in an auction. It went on to be a Number 1 Apple Books bestseller and an Amazon bestseller. Her second novel, Your Word or Mine, is due to be published in August 2022. She is represented by Kate Burke at Blake Friedmann Literary Agency and lives in Beaconsfield with her husband and two children.
