Joan Haig is a writer and lecturer living in Scotland. Her first novel, Tiger Skin Rug, was nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. In 2020 she edited Stay at Home! Poems and Prose for Children Living in Lockdown, a free ebook available from Cranachan Publishing. Her first nonfiction book for children, Talking History: 150 Years of Speakers and Speeches (coauthored with Joan Lennon and illustrated by André Ducci) is out now with Templar Books.
