Agent Submission critique or 1-1 with agent Laura Williams (#17)

I'd like to offer a submission package assessment. In a thirty minute Zoom call, I will provide feedback and comments on a covering letter, synopsis, and first three chapters of a novel or a proposal for a non-fiction book, focusing on how to attract an agent to your work and how to make the pitch the strongest it can be for the market, as well as looking at ways in which the writing sample can stand out. This could also be an opportunity for aspiring authors to ask general questions about the industry and the process of securing an agent and getting a publishing deal.

About Laura:
Laura Williams joined Greene & Heaton as an agent in 2018. She worked at Peters Fraser and Dunlop from 2011, after completing a degree in Classics at Oxford. Her client list spans bestsellers and award-winning authors across fiction, non-fiction and young adult. She is currently looking for literary fiction, edgy commercial fiction, psychological thrillers and high-concept contemporary young adult, as well as narrative non-fiction of all types. Her taste is quite dark, and she loves gothic, ghost stories, horror and anything sinister. She also loves books that make her cry, from big love stories to intense family dramas.
