A 45-minute one-on-one Zoom (Skype or WhatsApp) workshop with bestselling crime and suspense writer Lucie Whitehouse.
Before the call, I will read the synopsis and opening three chapters of your crime or suspense novel and then meet you online to discuss your work, including story structure, character and dialogue, and to answer any questions.
I have published six novels with Bloomsbury and 4th Estate/HarperCollins including The Bed I Made, which was a TV Book Club pick, and Before We Met which was a selection for both the Richard & Judy/WHSmith Summer Reads and ITV Crime Thriller Book Club. My most recent novel, Risk of Harm, featuring DCI Robin Lyons, was Sunday Times Crime Novel of the Month. My novels have been translated into 13 languages. As a former literary agent with the Darley Anderson Agency and Janklow & Nesbit, I am also well placed to give advice on submissions. I am (rather disappointingly) completely unintimidating.
