About the artist:
Amy-Jean Mitchell is a multidisciplinary artist based in Meanjin, Brisbane. Since completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) in 2020 she has participated in creative residencies and exhibited in group and solo shows. Her paintings are informed by photographs and sketches of natural, digital, and urban spaces, and aim to scrutinise the nature of image making.
