Sons of Eden Romulus Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019 Magnum (1.5L)

This wine won 'Best in Show' at the 2019 Decanter World Wine Awards. Only 100 magnums were bottled and they are not currently available for retail sale so this is a rare opportunity to snap up a limited edition wine!

Deep garnet in colour with a lifted array of black-cherries, plums and red-licorice aromas. A rich, powerful and well structured palate, displaying flesh and appealing textured tannins. Keep this one as a long termer. Classic Barossan flavours, big and bold but with some modern elegance. Hand harvested, destemmed and crushed into small 1.5 tonne open topped fermenters. A range of hand plunging cap management techniques were used across the different vineyard parcels. Post-pressing, the wines were transferred to a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads.
