About this item

Enjoy a 2-hour Private Buggy Tour of the Royal Botanic Garden and uncover its History, Horticulture & Hidden Stories

A behind-the-scenes adventure through Australia’s oldest Botanic Garden

Discover the secrets of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney on a private 2-hour buggy tour with one of the Gardens’ most experienced experts.

Explore 30 hectares of vibrant landscapes, heritage trees, and seasonal blooms right on Sydney Harbour. Hear fascinating stories of resilience, pollination quirks, and rare discoveries from our 25,000+ plant collection.

As you roam through the winding paths, you’ll also hear captivating tales of the Royal Botanic Garden’s early days. From First Nations plant knowledge to the dramatic rise and fall of the Garden Palace, the enormous building constructed for the 1879 International Exhibition that once towered over the Garden before being lost in a spectacular fire just a few years later.
