Bairnsley Highland Cattle Stud Stock Sale (Autumn 2023)

Bairnsley has been breeding Highlands since 1996. Through our selection process and breeding, we have had a significant influence on the breed in Australia with 19 out of the last 28 AHCS National Show Grand Champion cows and bulls having their sire or dam as a Bairnsley animal, or an AI sire that we have brought into the country from Scotland.

In this sale we are offering three heifers and a cow in calf. We are also offering some recipient cows (Angus in this case) in calf with female sexed Highland embryo calves (ET Highland heifers). They are from hand picked sire and dam combinations, and registerable under your fold name in the Australian Highland Cattle Society (AHCS) Herd Book.

All Highlands in the sale are:
* Registered (or registerable) with the AHCS
* Of Fully Imported Bloodlines (FIB)
* DNA tested for proof of parentage
* Vaccinated with 7-in-1 and Pestigard
* Females are pregnancy tested in calf (if older than 2 years)
* Paddock raised and have not been pushed along with grain – they are as they are.
(Sale price includes GST & transfer of registration with AHCS into your name.)

On farm inspections of cattle are strongly encouraged. Please contact us for a time to visit during the fortnight prior to the auction. (glen.hastie@gmail.com or 0409 196 110)

Good luck in the bidding.
