Eleanor's debut novel, The Opposite of Success, a comedy about failure, was shortlisted for the Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction. She is a graduate of the Faber Academy's Writing a Novel course and has previously reviewed books for The Age and the SMH. Before turning to writing, she worked as a human rights lawyer and bookseller. Her new novel, Do We Deserve This?, is due out October 2025.
