Julia Jacklin is an Australian singer-songwriter from the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. Jacklin's musical style has been described as indie pop, indie folk, and alternative country. She has released three studio albums, Don't Let the Kids Win, Crushing and Pre Pleasure.
Pre Pleasure was nominated for four ARIAs, including Best Solo Artist, Best Independent Release and Best Video, and won the award for Best Adult Contemporary Album. Julia won Best Solo Artist in the Music Victoria Awards and various National Live Music Awards. She has also been nominated for Rolling Stone Australia Awards, APRA Awards, the Australian Music Prize and many more.
