Award-winning writer Emily Bitto at your book club or writers group!

Emily Bitto, author of The Strays and Wild Abandon, will attend a session of your book club or writers group, in person if in Melbourne, or via zoom if further afield.

You can choose from either a discussion of one of Emily's books, a general author in-conversation session, or a craft-focused discussion on a topic you can negotiate together.

Emily Bitto has a Masters in literary studies and a PhD in creative writing from the University of Melbourne. Her writing has appeared in various publications, including The Sydney Morning Herald, Meanjin, Heat and the Australian Literary Review. The manuscript of her debut novel was shortlisted for the 2013 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript. The Strays was shortlisted for the 2015 Indie Prize, was shortlisted for the Dobbie Award and is the winner of the 2015 Stella Prize.
