Maine artist Adriana Agri Diiorio said: "When I was little it was easy to make friends. I'd see your cool pants and ask you to be best friends. Meeting Ashley was the same! I instantly knew how special she was and there was nothing she could do, we are just going to endlessly love each other forever!! I started this sweater the day of Ashley’s big seizure, when she was rushed to the hospital and shortly thereafter, diagnosed with the recurrent cancer. Making this with Ashley in mind helped keep my mind and heart busy. I’m so glad that in finishing it I’m able to send it off to someone who will feel its love and warmth, just like a soft hug from my beautiful friend, Ashley.
