Artland Collector Auctions make it easy to discover and buy works from international private art collections.
Even the most dedicated collectors need to free up some space from time to time. When they do, they turn to us to help them find new homes for selected modern and contemporary artworks.
Hosted online, Artland Collector Auctions represent a great opportunity for art lovers around the world to gain access to and acquire unique works of art by exhibited artists of vetted quality, often with no or very low reserves.
How it works
- Artland will host the auctions, which will take place exclusively online.
- Bidding will take place over a two-week period ending May 19th, 2021
- The auctions will feature works owned by collectors in the Artland community.
- To the winning bid, there will be added a 12,5% administration fee incl. DK VAT and any applicable artist royalties.
- Artland will after the auction help the winners organize pickup or shipping.

Who is selling the artworks?
Artland Collector Auctions feature artworks belonging to notable collectors from the Artland Community.
Are there any other fees I should know about if I buy an artwork?
Yes. You need to pay a 12,5% buyer’s commission on the winning bid which includes any artist royalties.
What about transport and shipping?
Artland is collaborating with Convelio a global art shipping company and JH transport. On each lot, the item's location is listed, plus a link to the Convelio shipping estimator. At the conclusion of an auction, winning bidders will receive an email, and will be asked whether they require shipping or if they will collect the item. Artland will assist with coordinating the arrangements.
We recommend that these shipping providers are used in the interests of convenience and safety, but buyers are welcome to use their own providers. Please note that sellers are private individuals and will not be responsible for packing and shipping works. ALL arrangements will be the responsibility of the buyer.

How do I bid?
To bid on a work, you go to the page with the work and click on "Sign in". Then, log in, accept the terms (saying that we will receive your email address so we can write to you if you win), and then you are ready to bid.
How do I pay?
After the auction is finished you will get an email where you can click on a link to a transaction site. Here you need to complete the transaction within 12 hours after the winning bid.
