hobbypopMUSEUM is world renowned German artistic collaboration group founded in Düsseldorf in 1998. Founding members include noted artists Sophie von Hellermann, Dietmar Lutz, Nick Laessing, Marie-Céline Schäfer, Matthias Lahme, Christian Jendreiko and André Niebur. Famed for their all-consuming installations that each follow a narrative theme, they have staged over 50 exhibitions worldwide, including at The Royal College of Arts, London, Anthony D’Offay Gallery, London, Thomas Ruff Studio, Düsseldorf, The Julia Stoschek Collection, the Deste Foundation, Athens, Deitch Projects in New York and Tate Britain, London.
