Miri Braginsky: "I was born in Moscow in 1964 to my mother Maya. We lived near the Shchyolkovskaya subway station. I drew from the age of three, and I dreamed of Israel from the age of five. And at the age of 23, my dream finally came true. Now, it is important to make sure that my dream will last. And we too. (Shall last!) Currently, I live in Samaria and I have three children. Two of them have been independent for a long time and moved to different cities across Israel, but one is nonverbal autistic. He is with me and we play around, and he also helps me to draw and master the space, both visible and invisible. Drawing is a dialogue. And of course, prediction intertwines with memory, as hollowness surrounds mountains in dally. However, the towns do not dally, they are in a hurry, and the glass rings. These are their own disputes, quarrels, and insanities. Here, I would like to mention the rockets, and the fact that there is only a minute — an island where you can fit inside and hold on like on a tiny map (my tiny Israel), and hope to see how the calendar page turns over. And all of this is like a drawing of a holey knitted scarf. But a sketch is like the diary of a wanderer. And also thanks to my little granddaughters, my beloved Oriya, Naomi, and Maayan Nur. Ha! I made it! They opened something new in me! This is awesome and wonderful! And mother, may her memory be a blessing, she has left this year. And this world is a little far away from me, and I can’t look into it, but you see me, as always, and you look at my paintings and drawings".
