Katya Bratslavsky is a self taught artist who has been painting since early childhood. She cannot imagine a single day without the colors, brushes and canvases and puts all her effort and inspiration into her vibrant art. Being a free thinker and experimenting with new techniques and gel mediums she creatively applies the paint to the canvas using her imagination only as a way of expressing her ever changing mood. She is not afraid of bright colors or variable textures. Painting comes naturally to Katya who is continually seeking out new ways to refine the depth and energy of her art.

Katya was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and lived in Moscow until she moved to the United States with her family when she was 17 years old. She holds a masters degree in educational psychology and statistics. Katya is married with three children and currently resides in Fayetteville, New York. When she is not with her family she spends every free moment painting.

Katya’s paintings have been featured in many exhibitions since 2003 and are currently found in numerous private collections in the United States and around the world.
Katya has also used her artistic talent to help with humanitarian causes. Since Russia's unprovoked aggression against the Ukraine in February 2022, Katya donated close to $400,000 worth of her art sales to Ukraine 1991 Foundation, a non-for profit organization. Because of her donation, hundreds of First Aid Kits, gas masks, tourniquets, as well as dozens of ambulances and trucks were purchased for Ukraine's First responders. Starting October 7th, she has been focused on raising money for Israel in light of brutal and barbaric attack of Hamas terrorists against Israeli women, children, and families.
