Irina Sorochinskaya was born in Moscow, graduated in 1988 from the art and graphics department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin in Moscow.
In 1989 she immigrated to Israel. Lives in Rishon Lezion.
In Israel, she worked for 4 years in the print graphics studio of Ilya and Tina Bogdanovsky.
Participated in 11 solo exhibitions, and more than 150 group exhibitions in different countries of the world.
Member of the Association of Professional Artists of Israel, member of the Japan International Association of Watercolor Institute and the Moscow creative association "Author's Handwritten Book".
Her work is represented in museum collections and in private collections around the world.
Works in various techniques, mainly in the author's technique of printed graphics and watercolors. Her work is often on the verge of real and fictional worlds. These are a kind of bridges, guides from the natural vision of the world to the inner world, sensual, full of secrets, coincidences and recognition.
