Anatoly Baratynsky is a Jerusalem based contemporary artist who was born in Ufa, Russia in 1962. In the 1980’s he began painting and popped up in exhibitions throughout the USSR. After completing his studies Baratynsky became a member of the Artist Union in the Soviet Union before moving to Israel in 1991. There he joined the Israeli branch of the International Artists Association as he continued his career in artmaking. Baratynsky has been featured in many personal collections, solo exhibitions, galleries, and museums. Some of these include the Museum of Contemporary Russian Art, the Tatra Art Gallery of Poprad, and so on. His art is notable due to his combination of traditional and contemporary painting techniques along with his own innovations.
