After a 35-year creative career as a jewellery, fashion and interior designer in Australia and Hong Kong, Caroline Gibbes’ sophisticated style and creative expression is reflected in her unique and authentic approach to ceramics. Her head turning characters, excavated from an eccentric mind, embody the joy and perseverance of the human spirit.
Caroline Gibbes has chosen to donate 100% of the proceeds from this work to the Australian Red Cross - Disaster Relief and Recovery.
The Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund was set up to enable Red Cross to help people prepare for, cope with and recover from disasters – whenever and wherever they happen. They have been responding to Australian disasters for more than a century, and have never seen fires of this scope and breadth. Donations to the fund have already powered their nationwide response to the bushfires since they began in September.
