Laurie is a professional Sydney artist who paints almost everyday. She creates works with the intention to evoke an atmosphere no matter what the subject matter is. The impetus is to tell a story, convey a feeling; nostalgia, introspection, or fun and joy.

The artist has generously donated this piece to our Art 4 Healing Auction, helping us to raise funds for Adult Mentoring and Youth Mentoring Programs, and ‘Healing from Within’ - a Youth creativity program that supports incarcerated young women and those ‘at risk’ in our community. Women’s Justice Network thanks the artists for their involvement.
