Ally Jade is an Artist based in Sydney’s Inner West. She is passionate about women’s rights, especially women and girls impacted by the criminal justice system - having spend some time in custody herself. Ally uses her experience in prison and as an artist to mentor and teach young ‘at-risk’ women through Women’s Justice Network’s diversionary program ‘Healing From Within’. Ally uses faces, expressionist bright colours, and multiple layers of texture and combines text, paper and paint to create distinctive artworks.

The artist has generously donated to the Art4Healing Fundraiser, a hybrid event aimed to support women and girls to live their best lives. Funds raised will support the Healing From Within Program and the My Way Youth Mentoring Program.
