----
Dianne Phillips is an Australian artist who discovered her passion for painting after taking early retirement in 2013. Following a demanding career in HR management, she turned to art as a way to unwind and embrace a more creative, fulfilling chapter of life. What began as a simple hobby quickly grew into a lasting passion, with Dianne continuing to paint for many years and generously sharing her work with friends and charitable causes.
At the heart of Dianne’s life is her family. She has been married to her husband David for over 20 years and is a proud member of a close-knit blended family, including six beloved grandchildren. Her work is deeply influenced by this strong sense of connection, care, and gratitude.
Dianne’s art has also taken on a meaningful philanthropic dimension. She has chosen to donate a number of her paintings to support Myasthenia Gravis awareness and fundraising efforts, a cause close to her heart following her 14-year-old grandson’s diagnosis. While the journey has brought challenges, she draws inspiration from his resilience, his love of basketball, and the strength of his family as they navigate his care together.
Painting, for Dianne, is ultimately about joy, reflection, and giving back. Her work is inspired by a genuine love of the creative process, offering both personal fulfilment and a way to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
