Gema Jimenez, known as Triana Pura, is a Spanish born multidisciplinary visual artist. After a career as stage manager in several countries, Gema arrive to Australia in 2009 and worked as a skydive photographer 7 years. Following a skydiving accident where she broke her back and neck, Gema's life changed, and after years in recovery she found healing through Music and Art. She finished her diploma degree in Contemporary Music at Southern Cross University in 2019 and currently she is in her second year of Bachelor of Art and Design. Gema aims to work as an Art Therapist in the future to try help people with traumas and phycological needs. Her work is focuses on chronic pain and healing, from a positive and productive perspective. Gema's practice ultimately explores art through meditation as a tool for healing.
