Brooke Jenkins "Galaxy Platter"

Brooke Jenkins is an artist working and living on Bundjalung country. Through her exploration of clay, Brooke creates functional ceramic wares for our daily rituals. Inspired by the intersection of food and ceramics, Brooke creates pieces with the intention that they will form part of the family culture and cherished memories.

This wheel thrown platter is glazed in a beautiful blue and green speckled glaze to give a galaxy effect. High fired for durability and vitrification.
