Ukrainian Naval Infantry Corps (Marines)
The modern Ukrainian Naval Infantry Corps was officially formed in 1993, following Ukraine’s independence from the Soviet Union. The corps traces its roots back to the naval infantry units of the Black Sea Fleet of the former Imperial Russian Navy.
