The Wind, Night Jump, Grass

The painting was created by Ukrainian artist Serhiy Savchenko during his art residency in Virginia, USA. It presents a composition in which we seem to be looking through the grass and from beneath it into the night sky, where two parachutists can be seen quietly gliding down. The pink colour of the grass and the overall palette evoke an associative impression, as if we were observing the scene through a night-vision device. The work is inspired by the event Operation Rupture Duck, held on 8 November 2025 and organized by 550 Cord Inc.
