The Wind 2 , Airborn invasion

The painting was created by Ukrainian artist Serhiy Savchenko during his art residency in Virginia, USA. It presents a composition imagined as a view that could be seen by one of the parachutists in mid-flight. The presence of the wind – seemingly invisible during the jump – is nevertheless revealed through the interwoven angles of parachutes and parachutists in motion. The work is inspired by the event Operation Rupture Duck, held on 8 November 2025 and organized by 550 Cord Inc.
