The Carpet

“The Carpet” is an author screenprint  by ukrainian artist Serhiy Savchenko shaped by the artist’s residency in Istanbul (2020). It reflects on cultural “layers” and ornamental rhythms—echoes of carpets, streets, and architectural textures—building a meditative yet dynamic visual palimpsest. The work merges philosophical inquiry about memory and heritage with crisp, modular cadence in print.
